Refund and Withdrawal Policy

How refunds, statutory withdrawal rights and subscription cancellations work for CB Trading Company digital subscriptions.

1. Mandatory consumer rights come first

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer right, remedy for non-conformity, duplicate-charge correction or other right that cannot legally be excluded. This policy describes two distinct things: (A) the statutory rights you have as a consumer, and (B) an additional voluntary commercial refund policy that CB Trading Company (CBTC) offers on top of them.

2. Statutory right of withdrawal for digital services

Consumers in the EU normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital services that begin during that period at your express request, the law allows the supplier to charge for the part of the service already supplied, and — for digital content supplied immediately — the right of withdrawal may be affected once supply has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement. Before checkout you are asked to confirm this separately and explicitly. Where a statutory right still applies, it applies regardless of anything written below.

3. CBTC voluntary refund policy

In addition to your statutory rights, CBTC may grant a full voluntary refund when all of the following are true:

  • the request is submitted within 14 days from the initial paid subscription purchase;
  • no paid Service Usage Event has occurred after the paid entitlement started;
  • the request is not fraudulent or abusive;
  • the payment has not already been refunded, disputed or charged back.

Once a paid Service Usage Event has occurred, CBTC does not ordinarily provide a discretionary commercial refund for that billing period, subject always to mandatory consumer rights.

4. What counts as a paid Service Usage Event

Only activity occurring after the paid subscription starts may be considered. Activity performed during a previous free trial is never treated as paid-period usage. Usage is determined solely from trusted server-side activation, entitlement, journal and Telegram delivery records — it is never declared by the customer or by the app in the browser.

Journal + Trade Manager

  • successful Trade Manager use under the paid entitlement;
  • opening or managing a new operation through the paid Trade Manager entitlement;
  • successful paid-period Journal synchronisation.

Signal Suite

  • delivery of the first private paid-period Telegram signal;
  • use of the paid Trade Manager or paid Journal capabilities.

Not treated as paid usage

  • viewing public pages;
  • opening the pricing page;
  • creating an account;
  • completing a free trial before the paid subscription;
  • merely viewing billing settings;
  • a failed activation, failed delivery or technical error.

5. Subscription cancellation

  • Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time using the billing controls available in your member area.
  • Cancellation prevents future renewals; it is not a request for a refund of a period already paid.
  • Access normally continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Unused portions of an already-started billing period are not automatically prorated or refunded, except where required by law.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges are reviewed and corrected.
  • Dissatisfaction with a trading outcome, a market loss or the failure to obtain a specific result is not a valid refund reason. CBTC does not guarantee signals, profits or trading results.
  • Free trials do not generate a charge and therefore do not produce a refundable payment.

6. Mentorship

Mentorship is available by application only and is governed by the separate agreement accepted at the time of selection. The automated subscription wording in this policy does not apply to Mentorship without that agreement.

7. How to request a refund

Signed-in members can open a refund request from the Subscription section of their member area, selecting the payment concerned and a reason. Each request is reviewed manually by CBTC staff using server-side records; no refund is issued automatically. You may also write to the contact address published in the Privacy Policy.
